Social Snowball

Social Snowball is a Shopify-native refer-a-friend and ambassador program. Connecting it brings ambassador-driven revenue, top referrers, and program-level performance into Ignyte IQ alongside paid acquisition.
Before connecting
Section titled “Before connecting”- Source-platform requirement: Social Snowball admin with API-key access.
- The store’s Shopify integration is connected — Social Snowball attributes against Shopify orders.
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”- Go to Settings → Integrations and select Social Snowball.
- Paste the API key from Social Snowball.
- Click Connect.
- The integration appears as Connected, with initial sync running.

Section titled “Data provided”- Active ambassadors / referrers
- Referral-attributed orders and revenue

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Connection fails — confirm the API key was generated for the active Shopify store (not a development store).
- Referral revenue doesn’t match Social Snowball’s dashboard — confirm the attribution window matches; Social Snowball’s dashboard may use a longer credit window by default.
- Data appears to lag the source platform — check the Data panel for sync timing. See Data freshness.
