Create your first workspace

A new account is prompted to create a workspace on first login. Existing accounts can create additional workspaces via the workspace selector in the top navigation.

For background on what a workspace is, see Workspaces.

Workspace creation runs as a four-step wizard. Each step’s selections can be edited later from workspace settings — none of them are permanent.

  1. Workspace Info. Enter a workspace name and pick a primary platformShopify or Amazon. The primary platform determines which dashboards Brand Overview opens to by default (DTC-first for Shopify, Marketplaces-first for Amazon) and which datasources the next step prioritizes.

  2. Integrate Datasources. Connect at least one datasource. The wizard prioritizes the primary platform picked in step 1 (Shopify or Amazon) at the top of the list, then surfaces commonly-paired sources — Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, Google Analytics 4. Each connection runs an OAuth flow and starts a background sync. Connections can be skipped here and added later from Settings → Integrations.

  3. Invite Your Team. Add teammates by email and pick a role for each (Admin or Member). Each invite triggers an email. This step can also be skipped — teammates can be invited from Settings → Team at any time.

  4. Completion. The wizard confirms what’s connected and what’s not, then opens the new workspace’s Brand Overview. Datasources that are still backfilling show a fetching historical data badge in the DATA panel until the initial sync completes.

A new workspace has no datasources, dashboards, Reports, saved Views, or team members. Next steps:

  • Creation fails — confirm the name is non-empty and uses standard characters.
  • The workspace selector isn’t visible — you may already be inside a workspace. The current workspace name appears at the top of every page.
  • Workspace was created with the wrong name — rename it from workspace settings. Workspaces can also be deleted, but deletion removes all datasources, dashboards, and team access.
