Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Connection fails after granting permissions — Meta requires the connecting user to have a Business Manager role with admin access to the ad account. Page-level admin alone isn’t enough. Confirm the role in Business Manager, then reconnect.
- Conversions don’t match Meta Ads Manager — Meta Ads Manager defaults to a 7-day click + 1-day view attribution window. Ignyte IQ shows Meta’s platform-reported numbers under Meta’s configured window, so match the window and date range on both sides before reconciling. GA4 applies a different model — see Why numbers don’t match.
- Spend differs by a small percentage — Meta sometimes restates spend retroactively as bills clear. Check the same date range a day later; the gap usually closes.
- General connection issues — see Datasource won’t connect.
- Other reconciliation differences — see Why numbers don’t match.
