Export a table to CSV
Any data table in Explore or a Reports section can be exported to CSV.
Step-by-step
Section titled “Step-by-step”- Navigate to the dashboard or Report section with the table you want.
- Configure the view first: date range, comparison, tab, filters — exports reflect the current view.
- Scroll to the table. Look for an export/download icon, usually near the table’s top-right.
- Click the export action. The file downloads.
- Open it in your spreadsheet tool. Spot-check the headers, row count, and a few values.
- Set the view before exporting, not after. Exports capture the on-screen state, not a default.
- For Sales tables specifically, see Exporting data from Sales tables — it covers Tabs (Products vs Variants) behavior.
- For full-report export, see Exporting a report or section.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Download doesn’t start — check the browser’s download permissions; try another browser.
- File is empty or smaller than expected — widen the date range; some filters may exclude all rows.
- Values look like
#####in Excel — column width too narrow; widen the column. - Numbers in the file don’t match the dashboard — the dashboard may have updated since export. Refresh and re-export.
