Connect a second Shopify (or other ecommerce) store
Multiple ecommerce stores can be reported on in Ignyte IQ either as multiple datasources in one workspace (blended view) or as separate workspaces (isolated views).
Choose: one workspace or two?
Section titled “Choose: one workspace or two?”| Setup | Use when |
|---|---|
| One workspace, multiple stores | The stores are part of one brand and should be reported as a whole (DTC + Amazon-by-the-same-brand). Stores’ data blends. |
| Separate workspaces | The stores are different brands or businesses that should be reported independently. Data does not blend. |
For agencies managing multiple clients: always use separate workspaces, one per client.
Adding a second store to the current workspace
Section titled “Adding a second store to the current workspace”- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the relevant ecommerce platform (Shopify, BigCommerce, etc.) and click Add another (or select the platform a second time, depending on the platform).
- Run the OAuth flow with the second store’s account.
- The second store appears as a separate connection. Both stores’ data feeds the workspace’s metrics.
In dashboards, you can filter by store to look at one at a time, but the default headlines blend.
Creating a separate workspace
Section titled “Creating a separate workspace”- Open the workspace selector in the top navigation.
- Select Create workspace.
- Name it for the second brand or client.
- Connect the second store’s datasource from the new workspace’s Settings → Integrations.
The two workspaces are independent — team access, datasources, dashboards, Reports. See Workspaces.
