AdRoll
Category: Ads · Connection: OAuth · Status: Beta
AdRoll runs retargeting and display campaigns across the open web. Connecting it adds AdRoll spend, impressions, clicks, and attributed revenue to Paid Media and the Marketing section, alongside Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Microsoft.
Before connecting
Section titled “Before connecting”- Source-platform requirement: AdRoll user with “Owner” or “Admin” role on the advertiser account.
- The store’s ecommerce datasource (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce) is connected — AdRoll’s revenue attribution matches against orders that flow through the store.
OAuth scopes
Section titled “OAuth scopes”- Read access to advertiser accounts
- Read access to campaign, ad-group, and ad performance
- Read access to attributed conversions
All scopes are read-only.
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”- Go to Settings → Integrations and select AdRoll.
- Sign in via AdRoll’s OAuth screen.
- Approve the read scopes Ignyte IQ requests.
- Pick the advertiser account to bind (AdRoll users with multiple accounts see a selector).
- The integration appears as Connected, with initial sync running.
For the full connection-method walkthrough, see Connect a datasource.
Data provided
Section titled “Data provided”- Spend per campaign / ad group / ad
- Impressions and clicks
- Attributed conversions and revenue (AdRoll’s attribution model)
- Top-performing campaigns by spend, ROAS, and conversions
What this powers
Section titled “What this powers”- AdRoll spend tile on Brand Overview’s Marketing section
- AdRoll rows in the Paid Media drilldown panel and data table
- AdRoll-specific dashboard under Explore → Marketing (analogous to Google Ads, Meta Ads dashboards)
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Connection fails — confirm the AdRoll user has Owner / Admin role on the advertiser account. Standard users can’t grant the read scopes.
- Spend differs from AdRoll’s dashboard — AdRoll’s dashboard defaults to UTC; Ignyte IQ uses the workspace’s time zone. Reconcile on the same date range and time zone.
- Conversions don’t match AdRoll’s reporting — AdRoll’s attribution lookback window may differ from the platform’s default in Ignyte IQ. See Why numbers don’t match.
- Data appears to lag the source platform — check the Data panel for sync timing. See Data freshness.
