Can't log in

If sign-in fails, the cause is usually one of: wrong password, expired or unverified email, or account locked.

  1. Confirm the email address. Typos are the most common cause.
  2. Reset the password if you’re unsure. Use the Forgot password link on the login page. See Reset your password.
  3. Check email verification. If the account was created with email signup and never verified, sign-in fails. Request a new verification email from the login page.
  4. Check for a Google-linked account. If the account was created with Google, email-and-password sign-in won’t work. Use Google sign-in instead.
  5. Account locked. After repeated failed attempts, the account locks temporarily. Wait, then retry.

  • The email address used for sign-in
  • The error message (if any)
  • Whether the account was created with email or Google
