Can't log in
If sign-in fails, the cause is usually one of: wrong password, expired or unverified email, or account locked.
Step-by-step
Section titled “Step-by-step”- Confirm the email address. Typos are the most common cause.
- Reset the password if you’re unsure. Use the Forgot password link on the login page. See Reset your password.
- Check email verification. If the account was created with email signup and never verified, sign-in fails. Request a new verification email from the login page.
- Check for a Google-linked account. If the account was created with Google, email-and-password sign-in won’t work. Use Google sign-in instead.
- Account locked. After repeated failed attempts, the account locks temporarily. Wait, then retry.
